Comfortable rooms Quiet location Family-friendly Good restaurant Some noise from construction Walkable to town

“The hotel was undergoing construction during my stay, which wasn’t ideal. The walls and hallways are quite thin, so noise carries easily and you can hear a lot from nearby rooms. That said, the bed was comfortable, the room itself was pleasant, and the food was enjoyable.”

“I’d rate this a 3 star hotel. It was comfortable, service was polite and efficient, etc- Novo Hotel simply doesn’t rise to the level of a 4 or 5 star hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, although it can get cramped with 2 people in a room. The mattress was medium-firm and I felt the room was quite soundproof. The restaurant is very good yet has a limited menu. Breakfast is good but gets repetitive. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. I’d elect to stay in the city center on my next visit to Bayeux.”

“It is a little outskirts but has a big parking lot. If you are traveling by car definitely worth it but the walk to town is 20 min one so if you do not mind the walk it is a great place the restaurant is absolutely underrated the food was extremely good. Breakfast has everything you could ask for and the hotel bar is busy and full of visitors to the landing beaches and therefore super easy to engage if you wish.”

“We stayed here on Dec 28th 2025 while in Normandy for a D-day tour on the 29th. The Acour ALL booking app proved to be a great help with booking and payment. The hotel is situated near the town center but a bit of a walk. Hotel enviroment was clean, staff was great from check in to check out. They have a nice little bar in the lobby and a full restuarant that serves dinner and breakfast. Dinner menu is rather limited but the cusine is excellent. The breakfast was fantastic with everything you could want (except scambled eggs. They had raw eggs and a poaching machine). Room was clean and spacious, however lacking a mini fridge and safe. The shower water was warm but not hot. The bathroom sink water was much hotter. The toilet is in a water closet inside the room door with another door separating the main bathroom and living area. Kind of extra door of security. The area is very quiet and safe with EV charging staions in the front of the hotel. I would definately reccomend Hotel Novotel for value, service and ammenities.”

“A good hotel if you are in Bayeaux. Quite clean . Renovations were going around on the 2nd floor but we were warned in advance. No noise at night. The rooms just like most Novotel hotels are quite small but decent for a night or two. Breakfast was good as well.”

“Had a great stay at the Novatel Bayeux. Rooms were very comfortable, plenty of free parking, and they offered an excellent breakfast to start the day. Highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling the d-day sites.”
